in 2025 i had a difficult time separating fact from fiction. so often i'd be deep in conversation with my friends at 2am and notice a faux glow surrounding their heads not unlike an aura but more so a lossy, compressed haze. i zoned out in the studio and onstage. i pinched my cheeks in the mirror and picked off my manicures.
what i did each month
january: toured with the instrumental accompaniment of portland power violence band badfast
february: attended several nude life drawing events for field research
march: played piano in the uc berkeley practice rooms instead of going to class
april: wrote two fifteen-pagers and filmed a music video
may: released an ep and graduated college in the same week
june: taught five year olds how to fold cootie catchers at a summer camp
july: wrote and packed all of my shit up
august: recorded music and played an acoustic set in new york
september: wrote and recorded in my grandma's room
october: toured as an opener across the us with the instrumental accompaniment of my friend hudson and my other friend computer
november: harmonized in new york
december: moved to los angeles
